SYNOPSIS
While they were still a love copule, Marko (32) and Andreja (31) bought tickets for holidays in Canada. They wanted to see Niagara falls and visit Marko’s uncle Franci who is a Slovenian immigrant living in Ottawa. Two months before the holydays they split and convinced they can travel as friends they decided to take the trip anyway.
The first problem arises when Andreja finds out that Marko didn’t tell to his uncle they are no longer together. Instead clearing the situation with the uncle, he asks Andreja to behave like they are still a couple for few days while they are staying at his uncle. Though Andreja dislikes the idea she agrees. The truth is that all what Marko wants is to conquer her again. Uncle Franci organizes a big Slovenian party to welcome them. At the party Andreja meets Erika (22) and Igor (23) young Slovenian couple also on holidays in Canada. She invites them to join her and Marko. All four hit the road with Franci’s old car. The trip to Niagara turns out to be longer as they expected. The trip becomes an emotional adventure for two couples when Marko finally gives up on Andreja and gets closer with Erika, who at the same time realizes that his boyfriend is an immature and unfaithful fool, attracted by Andreja. Andreja tries to keep a distance from Marko but has to deal with her doubts about their separation and the growing jealousy when Marko and Erika become close. Finally she can’t control it anymore and uses Igor to break Marko and Erika’s platonic, yet gentle relationship. It’s the time when they finally reach Niagara…
